The Detroit Lions had their four-game winning streak broken by the Kansas City Chiefs with a prime-time 30-17 defeat on the road Sunday night.

The Chiefs were a heavyweight competitor and played a strong game, but looking at the results on Pro Football Focus, it seems like most of the issues came down to the Lions’ own struggles to make plays.

The standout was a 41.4 tackling grade for the Detroit defense after missing 10 tackles on the night. The Chiefs frequently made it to the second level and beyond in the run and pass game, while the Lions had trouble containing explosive plays.

It was their lowest tackling grade since Week 4 against the Seattle Seahawks (40.7) last season and the most missed tackles since their playoff loss to the Washington Commanders last season (16).
