Goaltender Jesper Wallstedt and forward Danila Yurov, two of the Wild's top young prospects, are set to make their season debuts on Monday night against the Los Angeles Kings at Grand Casino Arena in St. Paul. For Yurov, it'll be his NHL debut.
Two games into the season, the Wild are 1-1. They came out of the gates with an impressive 5-0 win over the Blues in Thursday's season opener, then dropped their home opener 7-4 to the Blue Jackets on Saturday night.
Filip Gustavsson, the Wild's clear-cut No. 1 goalie, started each of the first two games of the season (with quite different results). But with Minnesota kicking off a five-game road trip on the second leg of a back-to-back Tuesday night in Dallas, Wallstedt will make his first start of the year — and just the sixth of his NHL career
