The A82 is closed in both directions this evening (Monday, October 13) after a crash.

The major route is closed at Milton, between Clydebank and Dumbarton, following a collision before 7pm.

Traffic Scotland reports that emergency services are at the scene, with police having closed the road.

Drivers are urged to use an alternate route as queues build.

Delays of 15 minutes are reported on approach in both directions.

In a statement, Traffic Scotland said: “A82 Milton CLOSED in both directions due to a collision

“Emergency services are at scene. Approx. 15 minute delay in both directions approaching the closure tonight.”

They added: “Please use an alternative route at this time.”
