One person is in hospital after a 'disturbance' on a Glasgow east end street.

Police set up a cordon on Duke Street, Dennistoun , after being called to an incident around 3.50pm this afternoon (Monday, October 13).

Images from the scene show several police vehicles and paramedics at the scene.

One person was taken to hospital for treatment, police said.

The pavement on Duke Street remained closed on Monday evening between Whitehill Street and Armadale Street as investigations remain ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.50pm on Monday, 13 October, 2025, we were called to a report of a disturbance in the Duke Street area of Glasgow.

“Emergency services attended and one person has been taken to hospital for treatment.
