LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- The driver who killed a Las Vegas high school senior crossing the street entered a guilty plea in court Monday, a spokesperson confirmed.

Jackson, 37, drove impaired and collided with McKenzie Scott on Friday, May 2, killing her. The crash happened on Buffalo Drive near Arbor View High School. Scott was expected to graduate from Arbor View High School within days of the crash.

Updated court documents filed Monday indicate Jackson faces one charge of DUI resulting in death.

Jackson's preliminary breath test showed a blood-alcohol level of 0.29 -- more than three times the legal limit of 0.08, according to his arrest report.
