A man has been charged with murder after another man died following a ‘stabbing’ in Birmingham .
Barry Davison suffered knife injuries in Uplands Road in Handsworth on Saturday (October 11) night and despite the efforts of emergency crews nothing could be done to save him.
His daughter described the 48-year-old as a ‘kind and caring’ dad who ‘genuinely had a heart of gold’ in a heartfelt tribute which can be read in full here .

Now, West Midlands Police has confirmed Stewart McInnes, 43, has been charged with Mr Davison’s murder.
McInnes is set to appear before Birmingham magistrates on Tuesday (October 14).
