The victim of a stabbing in Birmingham which is being treated as a murder has been named by police as his daughter pays tribute to her ‘kind and caring dad with a heart of gold’.

West Midlands Police officers were called to Uplands Road in Handsworth shortly before 10pm on Saturday (October 11) after a man suffered stabbing injuries.

Sadly, the 48-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.

Now, police have confirmed the victim was Barry Davison.

Barry’s daughter has paid heartfelt tribute to him saying he has not always made the right choices but he was loved by his family.
