LINCOLN, Neb. (WOWT) - Matt Rhule spoke at length about his love for Nebraska on Monday amid heavy speculation tying the Huskers head coach to the vacancy at Penn State.

“I love it here,” Rhule said, while spending seven minutes on the subject at his weekly news conference. “I’m not going to talk a lot about job openings when they come. Maybe it’s been awhile here, but this is what happens when you win.”

Rhule, who played at Penn State from 1994-97, began his coaching career as a volunteer assistant under Joe Paterno, and has a close relationship with PSU athletic director Pat Kraft, is a logical name to come up in the Nittany Lions search.
