GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. —

A traffic stop on Interstate 85 in Greenville County uncovered $1.6 million in counterfeit goods labeled as designer brands.

Members of the Greenville County Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Enforcement Unit initiated the traffic stop.

They said the merchandise had labels such as Hugo Boss, Lilly Pulitzer, and Burberry.

The shipment was traveling from New Jersey to Atlanta.

The Greenville County Sheriff's Office said no charges have been filed and the investigation continues with the help of Homeland Security (HSI).
