MONTGOMERY, Ala. ( WSFA ) - The Alabama High School Athletic Association has announced the retirement of the organization’s longtime director of communications, Ron Ingram.

Ingram joined the AHSAA in late 2007 and has led its communications department for the last 18 years.

Ingram’s retirement is effective as of the last day of 2025.

“I’m ready to start spending more time with my family, with my wife and children and grandchildren and doing some of the things I needed to do more of during my career,” Ingram said. “I’m going to miss the AHSAA. It has always had great people working at and leading the AHSAA.
