FORT WORTH, Texas (CNN) - Two people are dead after a small plane crashed in north Texas.

The crash happened Sunday morning near Fort Worth, Texas, not far from Hicks Airfield.

Surveillance video from a nearby business captured what happened.

The plane’s wing touches the pavement before it crashes into a parking lot where semitrucks and campers were parked.

The collision triggered a huge fireball.

The two people on board the plane died, according to the Fort Worth Fire Department.

It was initially unclear where the flight originated from or where it was going.

The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating what happened.
