CLEVELAND — The long battle between the city of Cleveland and the Haslam Sports Group over the future stadium site for the Browns has come to an end.
On Monday, Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb and Browns owners Jimmy and Dee Haslam announced that the two sides had reached a settlement that includes HSG making a $100 million investment to the city. The deal, which includes the dismissal of the lawsuits between the two sides, paves the way for the Browns to move into a new, domed Huntington Bank Field in Brook Park in 2029.
