FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - As a storm will soon blanket the Central Valley, promising up to an inch of rain in some areas, Fresno County is offering free sandbags to help residents mitigate flooding.

Officials say residents need to come equipped with their own shovel and be prepared to fill their own bags with sand, which will both be provided free of charge.
