NORTH HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — One person died in a three-vehicle crash on Middletown Avenue in North Haven Monday, according to police.

An 80-year-old North Haven resident was pronounced dead at the scene near Rimmon Road.

This is an ongoing investigation, and all parties involved have been cooperative, according to officials.

Police are asking residents to avoid the area while the investigation is completed.
