NEW IBERIA, La. (KLFY) -- The Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help to identify two people pictured below.

Deputies saw a green dirt bike and a black four-wheeler traveling in the roadway on South College, just south of Frontage Road. When deputies attempted to initiate a traffic stop, both riders fled south on South College Road toward Patoutville Road at a high rate of speed, officials said.

The riders then entered a nearby cane field, later returning briefly to the roadway before fleeing again. The pursuit was terminated due to safety concerns, authorities said.

The two people are believed to be from the Jeanerette area.
