LINCOLN, Neb. (Huskers.com) - Nebraska junior outside hitter Harper Murray earned Big Ten Player of the Week honors on Monday, the conference office announced.

Murray and Penn State’s Kennedy Martin were both named Player of the Week. It was Murray’s first career Big Ten Player of the Week selection and the first Nebraska player to earn Big Ten Player of the Week since Merritt Beason on Nov. 6, 2023.

Murray put together two dominant all-around performances in Nebraska’s sweeps of Washington and No. 12 Purdue over the weekend. The two-time All-American made plays all over the court at Purdue on Sunday with 16 kills on 25 error-free swings for a career-high .640 hitting percentage, along with five digs, four set assists, two service aces and two blocks.
