PITTSBURGH (WTAJ) -- Thursday Night Football has been particularly unfriendly to the Pittsburgh Steelers who face the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday Night this week, the team's first and only scheduled mid-week assignment this year.

"Both teams are going to be soar, you know, it's not that much time to recover," said Linebacker Patrick Queen. "That's the whole topic of the Thursday night football games and some players want them not to have them."

The Steelers have lost four straight on TNF and their last six Thursday night interdivisional matchups on the road. A stat Mike Tomlin wanted to hear nothing about Monday.

"I'm only concerned about 2025," he said. "I've gotten my ass kicked in a lot of ways over the last 19 years."
