INDIANAPOLIS — Four people were injured, one critically, after a crash on the near south side of Indianapolis Monday afternoon.

IMPD officers responded to a report of a crash in the 1700 block of South West Street , near West Morris Street, around 3:30 p.m. Oct. 13 between a pickup truck and a car.

Officers arrived and found four people who were injured in the crash.

Medics transported four people to hospitals, one of whom is in critical condition and the other three's conditions being described as "stable."

IMPD crash investigators are responding to the scene to determine what happened.

Both drivers will undergo a blood draw, which is standard procedure in serious bodily injury crashes.

Police said to expect traffic delays in the area as the investigation continues.
