DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) -- Peace in the Middle East is the phrase of the day from world leaders, and those living in the Miami Valley have said they are cautiously optimistic about the peace deal.
Mixed feelings are sinking in on both sides of the Israel-Hamas conflict because of the ongoing peace deal.
Dominic Stratton, a local humanitarian volunteer, told 2 NEWS that joy and grief are in the hearts of many today.
He said this is the first time many families in Gaza that he knows have had the time to reflect on everything that has happened.
Similarly, Rabbi Karen at Temple Israel says the Jewish community's hearts are overflowing today with emotions ranging from tears of joy to the fear of not receiving all the bodies of people lost in the war.
