UVA Health expands mobile care clinic services north

GREENE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The mobile care clinic that already travels to patients in Fifeville and Southwood will now be offering check-ups, lab testing, pediatric care and more once a month in Stanardsville starting October 21.

"Everything that a brick-and-mortar clinic predominantly can do, we can do in that mobile care unit, including point of care testing and referrals to specialists," said Novella Thompson, administrator for UVA Health’s Population Health Department.
