1BERKELEY TOWNSHIP, NJ – Rising waters have forced road closures along Bayview Avenue as a coastal storm continues to flood parts of Berkeley Township.

Police reported flooding stretching from Butler Boulevard to Allen Road and again from Bowsprit Drive to the Ocean Gate border.

Drivers are being urged to avoid the affected areas until water levels recede and roadways can be safely reopened.

Officials said the storm continues to push water into low-lying neighborhoods, making travel hazardous and unpredictable.

Barricades have been placed along key sections of Bayview Avenue, and police are monitoring conditions as tides fluctuate.
