Hundreds of Kaiser Permanente workers in Clark County will begin a five-day strike on Tuesday.

They are members of the Oregon Federation of Nurses and Health Professionals, AFT Local 5017, AFL-CIO, which represents roughly 3,700 Kaiser Permanente employees across Southwest Washington and Oregon, including registered nurses and laboratory professionals.

Kaiser Permanente’s Cascade Medical Office at 12607 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd., is one of two sites in Southwest Washington where workers plan to strike starting at 7 a.m. Tuesday. The other picket line will be at Kaiser’s Longview-Kelso Medical Center. The five-day strike will end at 7 a.m. on Sunday.
