United States President Donald Trump addressed the Israeli Parliament Knesset on Monday, Oct 13, saying that the Gaza ceasefire between Hamas and Israel would be the "golden age of Israel and Middle East".

"It will be golden age of Israel and Middle East. Everyone thought we are wasting out time but we weren't," Trump said.

Trump hailed the contributions of the Arab nations and thanked them for their joint efforts in negotiating the Gaza peace and ceasefire agreement.

"Thank all my friends from Arab and Muslim nations. It is an incredible triumph for Israel to work as partners of peace," he said.

Return of hostages to their homes

Hamas returned all 20 living Israeli hostages to the Red Cross teams, according to the deal. In return, Israel released Palestinians detained in the prisons.
