An unknown number of human remains have been recovered from a makeshift desert junkyard in the Antelope Valley, investigators with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department confirmed to KTLA.
Authorities said they were called Sunday just before 12:30 p.m. after a resident, who lives nearby, reported that her dog found what appeared to be a human skull at the site located near 124th Street East and Pearlblossom Highway in unincorporated Palmdale.
A large crew of L.A. County medical examiners responded to the property, which is reportedly listed under the name Speed Motors Auto Repair and Body.
After a briefing, footage of the investigation obtained by KTLA showed investigators scouring the area, which was littered with vehicles, appliances and other large items before appearing to conc
