HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - Week eight of the high school football season is behind us, and all of the teams in the WYMT Coverage area have started district play.

Here is the WYMT Alice Lloyd College Mountain Top 10:

Johnson Central (8-0) : In week eight, the Golden Eagles defeated Rowan County, 63-6, which was the teams highest-scoring performance this season. In said game, Austin Slone threw for 183 passing yards and three touchdowns. Sophomore Brennon Daniels had 114 rush yards for two touchdowns against Rowan Co. The Golden Eagles remain the top team in 4A for RPI.

Bell County (8-0): It their last game, the Bobcats beat district rival Knox Central, 43-15. Sophomore Nathaniel Saylor had 176 rush yards for three touchdowns against the Panthers. In class 3A, the Bobcats rank fifth in both
