Washington Regional Medical Center undergoes lockdown after anonymous threat: Police

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — The Fayetteville Police Department says an anonymous threat prompted a lockdown at Washington Regional Medical Center on Monday night.

Sgt. Stephen Mauk with FPD told KNWA/FOX24 that off-duty officers were at the hospital at the time of the threat and additional officers are heading to the scene.

Mauk said that there has been nothing found to substantiate the threat and the department is working to trace the source of the threat.
