Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday welcomed the return of all 20 Israeli hostages, who were held in Hamas’ captivity for more than two years. The PM said that India fully supports US President Donald Trump ’s efforts to bring peace to the region.

“We welcome the release of all hostages after over two years of captivity,” Modi said via X. “Their freedom stands as a tribute to the courage of their families, the unwavering peace efforts of President Trump and the strong resolve of Prime Minister Netanyahu,” the PM said, adding, “We support President Trump’s sincere efforts to bring peace to the region.”
