The Victorian Liberals will scrap Australia's first formal Treaty agreement with First Peoples' if elected.

The ABC understands the decision was made at a recent shadow cabinet meeting, with the Opposition on Tuesday committing to introduce legislation repealing Treaty in the first 100 days of a state Liberal government.

While the Opposition had already withdrawn its support for the Treaty process and said it would not support the proposed bill, it had not announced a plan to repeal the agreement once signed until today.
