One of the wrongful death lawsuits filed by the mother of Harmony Montgomery was dismissed last week over a missed deadline, court records show.
A justice of New Hampshire's Hillsborough Superior Court dismissed Crystal Sorey's suit against Harmony's father, Adam Montgomery , Friday because her team hadn't filed legal paperwork known as return of service in court or asked for an extension, according to the order.

The lawsuit, filed in July, was the second wrongful death suit filed by Sorey in connection with her daughter's death. She reached a $2.25 million settlement with New Hampshire's child welfare agencies earlier this year.
