HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The University of Hawaii and the state’s Department of Education have launched a new initiative to simplify the college admissions process for Hawaii’s public high schoolers.
Direct2UH was officially introduced on Oct. 13 at a morning pep rally at Kauai High School, followed by a news conference at Farrington High School.
UH President Wendy Hensel told Farrington students by asking for a show of hands of who is nervous about being accepted to college, she then followed with, “I have some great news for you today. You have already been accepted to the University of Hawaii.”
