ONSLOW COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - Onslow County Animal Services is teaming up with the Bissell Pet Foundation to empty its cages during the Empty the Shelters event.

The shelter is looking to find homes for as many pets as possible before Wednesday, offering reduced adoption fees to help make it happen.

Shelter staff say there are plenty of sweet, loving animals waiting to be adopted. While cats and kittens often find homes quickly, they’re hoping more dogs get adopted this time.
