CLEVELAND — On Monday, Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb joined Browns owners Jimmy and Dee Haslam to announce a $100 million settlement to the two sides' ongoing stadium dispute, seemingly bringing to an end months of legal battles as the team looks to leave downtown in favor of a new domed facility in Brook Park.

As part of the agreement, both parties will drop all lawsuits against each other and the city will support the Browns in their efforts to move to the suburbs. In exchange, the Haslam Sports Group will provide the city $100 million over a multi-year period to both demolish the current Huntington Bank Field and invest in "Community Benefit Projects" — notably development of the Lake Erie waterfront.
