CHEROKEE COUNTY, S.C. —
Two people have been injured after an ultralight aircraft crashed in Cherokee County, South Carolina, on Monday evening.
According to Cherokee County Sheriff Steve Mueller, deputies responded to Beaver Dam Road for a crash involving an ultralight aircraft.
Mueller said two people were on the aircraft when it crashed and both of them were taken to the hospital.
As of 9:20 p.m., there are no updates regarding the victims' conditions.
Deputies will secure the scene until the Federal Aviation Administration responds Tuesday morning to investigate.
