The Canberra rugby community has paid tribute to a 19-year-old rising star who tragically died in a freak accident on a farm.
Joey Henry, who played rugby for the Canberra Royals and was in the junior system of Super Rugby side ACT Brumbies, had his life cut short in a quad bike accident while on his family's property in Outback NSW, south of Cobar.
The Marist College graduate had been riding the vehicle on Friday, October 3, when the incident occurred.
The Canberra Royals issued a statement paying tribute to the talented young player who had been a part of the Brumbies youth system since he was 16 years old.
