ALEXANDRIA, La. — A North Texas man has been sentenced to 40 years in federal prison for his role in a multistate conspiracy to produce child pornography and exploit minors online, federal prosecutors announced Monday.

Acting U.S. Attorney Alexander C. Van Hook announced Michael Bo Peacock, 50, of Denton, Texas, was sentenced to 480 months in prison followed by 20 years of supervised release. Peacock was also ordered to pay a $50,000 fine.

Peacock pleaded guilty in November 2024 to one count each of conspiracy to produce child pornography and enticing a minor to engage in criminal sexual activity. His co-defendant, Daniel Perryman Collins, 35, of Pineville, La., received a 27-year, one-month sentence in February 2025 for the same charges.
