ONALASKA, Texas (KTRE) - The Polk County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man who escaped from Louisiana custody.

Blake Holland first escaped from the custody of the Phelps Correctional Facility in Dequincy, Louisiana, while on a work release Friday, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.

Since then, he had been seen in Impala Woods as a search began.

Holland was found in Onalaska where he was taken into custody once more, according to a Sunday night update from the sheriff’s office.
