ST. CLAIR COUNTY, Ala. ( WBRC ) - The St. Clair County Emergency Management Agency has a new tool to help keep you safe in severe weather.
Deputy Director Charity Mitcham says a new camera system will allow them to monitor and see the weather in real-time.
Mitcham says they have a new way to monitor the ever-changing weather in Alabama. Thanks in part to Coosa Valley Resource Conservation and Development giving the EMA $5,000.
“We were able to get a weather camera. With this weather camera, we put it on Bald Rock, and we can move it around. It’s a 360, move it all around. The public cannot move it, but we can move it,” said Mitcham.
