LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – It could be any woman's story on a random day of the week, going from living a normal life to fighting breast cancer. That's what happened to Missy Lewis eight years ago to this day.

"I had to have a couple of different biopsies, and then the 3rd time I went and had biopsies, it was cancer," Lewis said.

Lewis says she started getting mammograms at the age of 40, never suspecting something was wrong until her doctor called.

"I literally was having a pedicure when I found out that it was positive," Lewis said.

With her husband out of the country, Lewis recalls dealing with the news on her own until CARTI doctors stepped in.

"I had all of my radiation with CARTI, my medical oncologist is here at CARTI, my breast radiologist is here at CARTI, and so I was really excite
