PORTALES, N.M. (KFDA) - The Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds volleyball team was able to bounce back Monday evening, picking up a much needed win over New Mexico Highlands Cowgirls at home.

The Cowgirls beat the Greyhounds earlier this season in four sets, but it was ENMU that came out on top in four sets today (26-24. 14-25, 25-22, 26-24).

As a team, the Greyhounds recorded 57 kills, 51 assists, 65 digs, and nine blocks.

Sophia Valdez led in kills (17), Violeta Flores led in assists (28), Imahni Brown led in digs (21), and McKenzie Hart led in blocks (6).

ENMU moves to 4-13 on the season after the win.

They continue Lone Star Conference play Thursday on the road to Sul Ross State on Thursday.
