Farmerville, La. (KNOE) - The town of Farmerville is moving forward with improvements to it’s water systems.

The Board of Alderman approved grants for Case farms’ water system as well as the town’s drinking water system.

“We’re going to improve everything,” Farmerville Mayor John Crow said. “It’s going to be good for our future. It’s going to be good for our grandkids. When all of my city council and all of us step down, it’s going to be in good shape. We’re working to make this the best.”

Case Farms will receive a $1.5 million grant while another $4.5 Million grant will go towards the drinking water system.
