When Nashville Mayor Freddie O’Connell hit the halfway mark of his first term in late September, his office lauded a laundry list of wins.

It included plenty that have already been top of mind since O’Connell’s November 2023 election victory. Dedicated transportation funding courtesy of his popular Choose How You Move initiative, development agreements along the city’s East Bank and improved year-over-year crime numbers were all there.
