Tamworth councillors are eyeing up a raft of changes to car parks, including the creation of a new one, following capacity issues and parking problems for businesses.

Last year saw several long-stay car parks switched to short-stay only, but now Tamworth Borough Council cabinet members are considering reversing some of these changes.

Car parks potentially on the cards for change include Lower Gungate, Church Lane and Spinning School Lane. But Hospital Street, which was changed from short stay with all-day parking to long-stay only, will remain as is.
