New Delhi: Gold and silver have started shining even before Dhanteras and Diwali festivals. In the last two to three days, the riise in prices hacve continued for the precious metals. Today, the rising trend continues. On the Multi Commodity Exchange i.e. MCX, gold increased by Rs 1876 to Rs 126,505 per 10 grams, while silver jumped to Rs 160,830 rupees per kg, setting a record high on MCX. The white metal gained Rs 6,185.
Apart from the domestic Indian market, gold also jumped in the international market. Spot gold was trading at $4161 per ounce with a rise of 3.60 percent. This rise in precious metals is due to growing concern over US tariffs and expectations of further interest rate cuts by the US Federal Reserve.
