CALEDONIA, Mich. — For the second consecutive week, the Michigan Tech Huskies football team spoiled Homecoming for the opposition. This time, the Huskies won a 16-14 defensive road battle at Davenport on Saturday afternoon.

The win marks the first Homecoming loss for the Panthers, who entered the contest 8-0 on the special day. More importantly, it ties the all-time series at four wins apiece between the two teams, with the Huskies snapping a three-game losing skid to Davenport for its second win at Farmers Insurance Athletic Complex.

Michigan Tech is now 5-1 on the season and 2-0 in the GLIAC as Davenport drops to 2-3 overall and 1-2 in the loop.
