CLARK COUNTY, Wash. — A Portland woman, who friends say was arrested during a protest outside the city's Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility Sunday, Oct. 12 is being held in Clark County Jail in Washington state.

Oriana Korol was arrested by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and booked into Clark County Jail on suspicion of assaulting a federal officer, according to the Clark County Sheriff's Office. The sheriff's office told KGW in an email it was a new criminal hold, not a warrant, and referred questions about why Korol was brought to the Washington jail to Federal Protective Services.
