PORTLAND, Oregon — Rain will diminish overnight and after a few showers on Friday morning, Northwest weather finally dries out.

Look for a partly sunny Friday afternoon.

Saturday begins with morning fog, but the sun breaks out in the afternoon as the east winds develop. It will be windy in the Gorge and east Portland Saturday night and Sunday, but the dry air riding the east wind will keep us fog free Sunday morning. It will be a mostly sunny and mild day.

A few showers my dot the north coast Monday, otherwise the area stays dry until rain returns Wednesday night and Thursday.

Have a great Friday.
