There's no denying that our high street is looking a bit different. Amidst a challenging retail environment, many companies have launched major restructuring plans. ‌

One of them is Morrisons, with the supermarket giant making multiple store closures across the UK that included some of its Daily Convenience stores, as well as axing in-store services such as its cafes. ‌

The major shakeup for the grocer, which was overtaken by Aldi as the UK's fourth largest supermarket, is said to have resulted in the loss of thousands of jobs, although the firm said that it was committed to redeploying staff whose jobs had been affected. ‌

As reported by the Express, 52 cafes, 13 florists, 35 meat counters, 35 fish counters, four pharmacies and all 18 market kitchen
