(KFVS) - High pressure will continue to keep dry and mild temperatures in place through Friday, ahead of a possibly stormy weekend.
Highs today through Thursday will be in the low 80s with low humidity and plenty of sunshine.
Afternoon highs will slightly increase into the mid-80s on Friday.
Evenings will remain mild with lows in the 50s.
A cold front on track to arrive over the weekend will increase the chance for showers and storms.
This will be mainly on Saturday.
Models show right now that there is a slight chance a few storms could become strong to severe.
Gusty winds and hail appear to be the biggest threat.
Timing looks to be late afternoon/early evening, but there are many uncertainties with this system, so a lot could change over the next few days.
