BROADVIEW, Ill. (WLS) -- Immigration and Customs Enforcement has until 11:59 p.m. Tuesday to remove the fence outside its Broadview processing facility, a judge ruled.

A bulldozer briefly pulled up Tuesday morning, but as the deadline for the removal of this fence approaches, there has yet to be any movement whatsoever toward its disassembly.

"They're gonna drag the feet as long as possible and I don't expect it to happen," protester Levi Rolls said. "It sends a message that yeah, the executive branch isn't gonna listen to the judicial branch, and it's very dangerous precedent to set."

The fence stands blocking the public right-of-way. The village argued that it is a safety hazard, especially for first responders.
