CHICAGO (WLS) -- Metra has resolved a system-wide outage impacting safety technology, and trains are operating with delays on Tuesday evening.

A Metra spokesperson said a positive train control outage impacted most train lines on Tuesday evening, but the issue was resolved, and trains started to move again.
